The City of Crest Hill incorporated in 1960 has grown from a small farming community just outside of Joliet into a commercial destination. Located on the crossroads of Will County, still the fastest growing county in the state of Illinois, and strategically located on U.S. Route 30, Route 53/66, the commercial corridor of Weber Road, and just a few minutes from Interstates 55 and 80. With our eye on the future, city leaders are aggressively attracting new commerce to provide an expanded commercial tax base and new opportunities for local employment.
The City of Crest Hill has made the development process easier for anyone looking to do business in the City. The City Council recently approved the Development Handbook which is a comprehensive guide to all-things development and business in the City of Crest Hill. Included in the handbook are forms, checklists and business and permit applications.
The City also provides a comprehensive database of available buildings in the City through the Location One Information System (LOIS). This database is updated every 3 months and provides up-to-date demographic information and maps from Google.
