55places.com is the number one resource for anyone seeking information about active adult communities in the United States. The website offers unbiased information and reviews of thousands of active adult communities. Crest Hill's Carillon Lakes has ranked #33 among the 55 best active adult communities in the United States for 2017. All the research to comprise this list was taken from research, feedback and information gathered from numerous on-site tours of each community.

Crest Hill Alderman, Tom Inman of the 4th Ward, has been residing in this charming and private neighborhood since 2002.

Mayor Soliman also applauded Carillon Lakes. "We are proud to have it [Carillon] in our city along with Willow Falls, another great community," Soliman said. "Carillon Lakes is a first class community and it's exciting to have them get recognized."

With homes constructed from 2000 to 2007, Carillon Lakes offers a newer feel than many other such communities. Residents can take full advantage of the amenities in Carillon Lakes, including a state-of-the-art 18,000 square foot clubhouse, 3-hole golf course, and several parks throughout the community.
