On Monday, November 7, the Crest Hill City Council voted Anthony Rossetti as the newest Deputy Chief of Police for Crest Hill. Mayor Soliman along with Chief Ed Clark went on to appoint Rossetti as City Clerk Vicki Hackney allowed him to swear in.
"Anthony has the experience and dedication it takes to excel in this position," said Chief Clark. Rossetti stared with the Crest Hill Police Department in 2001 and was promoted to Investigator in 2006 then to Sergeant in 2009. In 2016, he became the Police Department's first Sergeant in charge of Investigations.
In 2016, Duane Wilkerson retired as the Chief of Police and current Chief Ed Clark was appointed from Deputy Chief. This promotion left a vacancy for a Deputy Chief position. Rossetti, along with current Deputy Chief Brad Hertzmann will assume these duties immediately.
November 7 was another good night for promotions in Crest Hill as Regina Cabay was appointed to Utility Billing Supervisor. Cabay had been undertaking additional responsibilities as an accounts disbursements clerk when the Utility Billing Supervisor position was vacated in 2016.
"Regina has proven herself as a dedicated employee over the last several months," said Mayor Soliman. "I hope she has a long, successful career with the City of Crest Hill."
