Yard Waste Collection

Yard waste collection begins April 2nd and will be ending on November 30th.

Yard Waste will be serviced on a regular collection day. Residents can use one of three methods to dispose of their yard waste:

1. Residents can purchase and use paper bags designed to hold yard waste.

2. Residents can use their own container that cannot exceed 35 gallons in capacity. This container must be marked "YARD WASTE ONLY" in some manner. If needed, stickers designating "YARD WASTE ONLY" will be available at City Hall at no charge.

3. Residents can rent a 96-gallon toter at the rate of $30 per year to use for yard waste.  These toters must be used for Yard Waste only, and will be marked accordingly when they are delivered.

Branches will be taken on regular pickup day. The branches must be bundled, they cannot exceed 48" in length and the bundles must weigh less than 40 pounds.

Please call the Water Department at 815-741-5104 if you have any questions.
