Crest Hill board approved an extension of the Municipal Aggregation Program

mc squared energy services

Recently the Crest Hill board approved an extension of the Municipal Aggregation program. The program allows for the City to negotiate for more favorable electric rates for residents ’ home electric bills. Some residents may receive a letter saying they will continue to use MC2 as their suppliers, while others will be moved back to ComEd. Please note, there is no difference to the resident as to which supplier is used. All residents who have not found their own private supplier, will be paying the same ComEd rate. All residents can call ComEd for any outage or other delivery issues. Lastly, all residents have the option to Opt-Out of the program if they would rather be supplied by ComEd rather than MC2.
