The city’s ordinance on sprinkling and outdoor watering has taken effect as of May 1st and will run through September 30th as follows;
- Watering or sprinkling is permitted by residents whose street address end in an odd number on the odd number days of the month only.
- Watering or sprinkling is permitted by residents whose street address ends in an even number on the even numbered days of the month only.
If for some reason a city wide water emergency is declared, then at that time a total ban would be put on all watering and sprinkling.
